THE TERRACE!

There are only a few things to know about the terrace:

1. NEVER throw water, liquids, or any other items over the railing or into the gutter of the terrace. This is for your happiness as well as ours - this is assuming you don’t like being yelled at by our older neighbors, of course. The gentleman downstairs (Signor Baldocchi, who we’re sure you will meet) is very nice, but he will not hesitate to come up and ring the doorbell if any drops of water fall from our balcony to his. The older signora on the ground floor will “yell like thunder” if anything drops from the balcony onto her courtyard. Don’t worry about this … just please be mindful.

2. The awning ~ to use the awning, take the pole (located by the heater on the wall near the dining room table) hook it in the eye of the awning, turn carefully until the awning is out to your desired location. Retract the same way.

Please DO NOT leave the awning out when leaving the apartment - even just for a brief period of time - or when going to bed. If the wind comes up and the awning is out, it can tear it from the building.

3. There are 2 bungee cords hung on the doors leading to the terrace. Please use these to attach the doors to the terrance railing. This is to keep the doors from blowing open & closed in the wind.

4. ENJOY! ENJOY!! ENJOY!!!
